Since someone asked a question about this I thought I'd elaborate on what
Critical Mass is. Here's what it says on their website: "Critical mass is not an organization, it's an unorganized coincidence. It's a movement ... of bicycles, in the streets." When I ride with them they stop in the middle of big intersections sometimes, hold their bikes over their heads, and chant "Who owns the streets? The people own the streets."

Is this a shot outside of Starbucks in Cambridge i the morning?...dad
Actually this is around 7:30 pm or later, and I think it was next to a small market, but I don't remember (it could have been a starbucks?). We were riding with critical mass bike riders -- about 200 (?) of us or so. We started around 6 at Copley and rode all through Boston and Cambridge. Somewhere after Harvard Square we got split up, and here we were stopping to rejoin with the other group.
